The Destruction of the Elder Wand
The sun set down.
Harry was holding the elder wand and going out of the headmaster's office —or rather the headmistress's office with Ron and Hermione
They walked into an empty classroom and shut the door. "I don't want anyone else to use this wand. It is so powerful that it has caused much trouble to me. I've had enough trouble with Voldemort, Horcruxes and this wand." While saying this, Harry held the elder wand up to the light and stared at it.
Ron and Hermione both understood what he meant. Voldemort had been killed and the Horcruxes had been destroyed. So the elder wand might be...
After a long time of dead silence, Harry finally decided and said slowly, "It has to be DESTROYED." Then, crack, Harry broke the elder wand into two pieces. He went near the windows and threw them out. Thump, thump. The wand fell onto the ground.
As he turned back, Hermione cried, "Hurry up, there's somebody down there, just beside the elder wand." Harry drew out his phoenix wand and ran to the windows. There was wand light down the castle. Harry pointed his wand down. "Expelliarmus!" He rushed out of the classroom and ran downstairs.
"Harry, we're going to apparate." Hermione cried out while she grabbed Harry's and Ron's shoulders and apparated. At that time, they could apparate inside Hogwarts because the spell been broken.
They arrived at the half ruined ground in a second. "Lumos." Hermione called. So did Harry and Ron.
They walked towards the wand light and saw nothing but the elder wand. Though they were in the magic world, they were surprised by what they saw.
The elder wand was broken but its broken ends were still lighten. When Harry looked closer, he found out that the wand light was like none of his or Ron's or Hermione's. It is not as white as theirs, but more silver, just the same as the colour of memory. What's more, the light was silk-like, strong and very bright.
